Opportunity

As a Sales Development Rep (SDR), you will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into business accounts. You’ll identify and research lists of companies to target, and develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. SDRs conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business, their operations and their goals/needs for using the cloud. You will spend the majority of your time researching and interacting with prospects, so you should be engaging and friendly while projecting professionalism. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with prospects as well as the Cloudamize team.This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be part of the ground floor of building our direct sales channel and play a critical role in driving our success.

Responsibilities

  • High volume prospecting to identify and qualify new sales leads
  • Intensive phone/email activity is expected; you will be creating your own conversations with target company executives about their interest / goals for the cloud while introducing them to Cloudamize and the value of our platform.
  • Utilize all social & professional channels to research and engage with prospects
  • Measure activities & performance across all outbound sales campaigns
  • Track campaign activity and results in our sales management database with clear and concise notes
  • Set up calls and transition qualified leads to account executives
  • Work effectively in a team environment to support achievement of sales goals.

Qualifications

  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales
  • 1-2 years as a quota carrying inside sales/business development rep in the tech industry
  • The ability to write succinct, crisp emails and a great phone manner
  • Excellent organizational/follow up skills
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being obnoxious
  • Active listening & questioning skills
  • Ability to learn, reason and adapt quickly
  • Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and that of the company
